Funnies by Rowan
Lollie called my cell the other day, and of course Rowan wanted to talk to her, so I handed over the phone. He proceeded to take the phone out to the swingset and hold it up, all while saying "look Lollie, look!" Then he had to show her the sand box too and count the steps with phone and Lollie in tow. lol I think he really thinks we can see through the phone.
We took Rowan to the movies last night to see Toy Story 3 and made it all of an hour and 10 min before getting restless. Being the forgetful mom, I left my phone in the car, so no pics, but needless to say, he had a GREAT time and didn't want to leave. He just sat in his chair eating his popcorn and narrating the movie for us.
His new favorite word is "where?" and believe me, he uses it for everything! For instance, I tell him, "we're gonna change your diaper." Rowan: "where?" I say, "in your room." Rowan: "where?" OR "We're going to the store." Rowan: "Where?" I say, "in town." Rowan: "where?" I say "home depot." Rowan: "where?"
Whew! Exhausting trying to explain it all to a two yr old.
We have been preparing Rowan for his 2nd bday by telling him that there will be balloons, Thomas cake, prizes, friends and family, and that he will be two years old. What he got out of this is that everyone is bringing him TWO presents. hmmm
Lastly, you can never give just one of anything (candy, popsicles) because he's gonna hold up his finger and say "one more, puleeze!"
The other night, Rowan not wanting to take a bath, started crying and said, "no bath, I go time out."

The Latest
And of course, it's his new tradition to ride the rabbit every time he sees the carousel--and please don't let him catch another kid on it(he gets upset)
GrandReeda on the floor really getting in on the action
Of course, another Fri nite at the mall and he had to ride the train
On the way to the mall
I think all the "grands" remember this chair at GrandReedas!

Hair Cut
Well, it was past that time again, as we were borderline mullet---so off to the beauty parlor for a little trim. Plus, we have pics Sunday we have to look good for(to be posted later). You'd think he would be used to getting a hair cut as this is the third or fourth one, but not so much!

He looks so grown up:(

Pops brought him home this lil kitchen, but he was more interested in the "fake cokes" Pops filled with juice and sprite. I think he learned his lesson to use cups with lids after he mopped up all the sticky!

Rowan's new Big Boy room
He is soo proud of his new room and takes everyone that comes over in to show them. Tonight's the night we are going to attempt him sleeping in his bed by himself--at least for most of the night! lol We are going to add a lighted palm tree soon to finish off the whole "surf theme!"

He wanted a pic of him on his bed but was too busy with his juice to smile!

His little stairs are how he climbs in!

Row's new slide
Baseball Practice
Yes, he still loves his Bubba teeth--and that's what he calls them. They were on there way to the playground, so Im sure he got some funny looks. lol
Let the baseball lessons begin!
He was actually really good--he never missed the ball. We just have to work on swinging the bat with BOTH hands.
He found my fake fruit in a cupboard and brought it to Ronnie. Upon inspection he noticed Rowan's little teeth marks--Ronnie asked him if he tried to eat it and he said "UH huh, hard!" lol

Boy or Girl??
Well, unofficially it looks like another little boy! I am excited I don't really have to buy anything new and that Rowan will have a comrad, but would have loved to experience having a little girl too. Ultimately--my little one's health is all I care about, so the prayers continue! In six weeks I go for my "official" 19 wk visit for the 4d ultrasound to confirm the sex, so to be continued.....

Random Thoughts
Well, I have been too lazy or nauseated to take many pics lately, but I promise to catch up soon. I go to Dr Wilson today for my 12 wk appt--I think thus far I have only gained 3 pds, we'll find out the truth at 330. Rowan had a fever the night before, which was later diagnosed with a virus, so I got to spend my Mon in the drs office with him. Luckily, no more fever and Aunt L is with him today to spoil him rotten. He is so funny now and has become quite the mockingbird. I can just look at him and see he is absorbing so much information all the time. Like yesterday, he looked at Ronnie and said, "you're MY dadda." and Ronnie said, "are you sure Im not Mommas dadda?" and he responded, "no youre MY dadda and I love you very much!" Melted his heart!! Then in the bathtub last night we sang "He's got the whole world in his hands...where I would include him and all our family members, but he only wanted us to sing, "He's got Rowan and Brylee (his gfriend) in his hands--over and over," just grinning ear to ear. Then while preparing his bottle, I was trying to explain that milk comes from cows, but Rowan was not pleased with this explanation, and said, "Rowan's milk....no no cow!" Lastly, he must say goodbye to everything as we leave the house in the morning. For instance, he'll say: "bye dadda's car, bye thomas, bye reese, bye house," and so on. And his new way to get you to hold him is to run in the room and say "I scared, hold me?" Who could resist--he's so much smarter than we give him credit for. lol God love him, his sweet expressions, and hilarious sayings. Hope everyone is well, and I will take any prayers my way for the nausea and h/a to end soon!

Fun w/ the grandparents
He was loving Lollie push him around in the wheelbarrow!!
Showing us his new shoes and the lollipop he found in his mailbox!
His new spot to play cars--he likes to put them on the shelf under the table--as you can see, Pops encourages his habits.
On the swing with Pops
