My First Steps, 8 mths

My little baby is growing up way too fast...
He always wants you to hold his hands and walk with him, so we've been doing that for awhile, but yesterday he took 3 steps by himself. Wow!! He can stand pretty good briefly, but we kept practicing and he ended up taking several steps, then falling to me a few times. I guess we better invest in a few safety items before he can really get into things. I swear those little hands are magnets to touch everything, but it's amazing how they are so curious and learn so fast.

My First Easter Egg Hunt

I took Rowan to a friend's house with 15 other small kids and had a blast helping him find eggs and play.

Rowan and Spencer

Rowan was absolutely taken with watching Spencer....and Spencer was such a sweetheart to him. He introduced him as "this is Rowan my cousin." He's gonna make a great older bro one day.

Spencer dressed up in the Transformer outfit. He offered to let Rowan wear his mask, but it was a tad too big.

Finally!!

I feel like I've been waiting my whole life to hear Rowan say mamma, and he finally said it last night (and this morning). yay! He hasn't been feeling well and it makes me feel good that he said it because he wanted me to comfort him. Noone can take care of you better than mom, right?

On the flip side, I hear once they start, they never stop. Oh well, as long as I'm needed.
